Beyond the Wire advocates for change
If we’re to achieve sustainable systemic changes to public policy, we’ll need to evidence our position with robust and credible data. At present, there are substantial gaps in this area of research, so our focus will be to fill those gaps.
How we’re focusing our research:
We will be listening to those who have experienced military loss, who can provide strong and powerful testimony of the experience of armed forces bereavement.
We’ll be conducting or commissioning academic research that looks at the long-term outcomes for bereaved military connected families.
We’ll be gathering research from credible organisations and academics to highlight the need for change.
